Shaping Light

Erika Miller June 6, 2017

I have a fascination with shaping light and controlling it to do different things. This is a practice I apply in many of my shoots. The photos you see here are a result of different ways I have manipulated off camera TTL flashes to be a separate entity in my photographs.

SEE WHAT’S NEW

Lately i’ve been focusing on more concept-driven product work ✨

taking a single product and building a full visual around it — color, texture, light, mood

this one inspired by that glossy, “glass hair” finish using the Straw
a study in color + sun protection.

I don’t leave the house without SPF, so I’m always paying attention to texture, finish, and how it actually feels on my skin throughout the day and let me tell you this spf is SO SOFT!
